There has been a clash between CPN UML and Maoist center cadres at Latinath during the process of registering the candidacy nomination. In a clash, the cadres pelted the stones according to the locals.
The clash started at Latinath Bazar when Maoist centre finished their nomination registration and CPN UML was on the way for the nomination.
At least five cadres from the both parties were injured when stones were pelted by the bot parties. There has been no exact damage during the clash according to the police.
Police used two rounds of tear gas cell to control the mob according to local Dinesh Singh. According to the police a hotel at Latinath Bazar was damaged during the incident. The security has been tightened in the district after the clash.
