The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) regional office of far-western region has conducted a monitoring targeting the upcoming local level election.
Human Rights Officer Pawan Kumar Bhatta said that the monitoring was done on the issues such as violation of code of conduct, dissemination and voter’s education.
According to him, the monitoring was conducted on Dogadakedar village council, Sunaya Village council, Patan municipality and Melauli municipality.
The three member team led by human rights officer Bhatta was on monitoring in far-western region. In various part of the district, the voters complained that no one came to educate them on casting votes.
