Police have arrested 74 years old Ganesh Shah of Subarnawati village council-1 Ghodagaun on June 12 on charge of murdering his wife.
According to DSP Ram Prasad Gharti of District Police Office, 65 years old Laxmi Shah was murdered by the accused on the night of June 11 by using a sharp weapon over a domestic dispute.
Seriously injured Laxmi died while undergoing treatment on the morning of June 12 in Bhairahawa according to police.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that she was murdered by the accused in an inebriated state over a domestic dispute. The postmortem of the body was conducted in District hospital in Bhairahawa according to police.
