Police have arrested Bahadurlal Paswan aka Bahadurlal Yadav, 25 of Uttar Pradesh Ajamagadh district, Ambetkanagar Thana Tanda Ajimitiwaspur from Nepalgunj on March 8 on charge of raping 70 years old woman.
The accused absconded on March 7 after the incident. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at District Police Office, Bardiya on the same day whereby the accused was arrested from Nepalgunj in co-ordination with Banke Police Office and is under investigation.
The victim underwent health checkup at District Hospital in Gulariya according to DSP Bharat Bahadur Bohara of DPO, Bardiya.
