Victims of Saptari incident undergoing treatment

The 6 victims injured due to gun shot of police in clash of March 6 at Saptari are undergoing treatment at BP Koirala  Institute of Health sciences in Dharan.

Six UDMF cadres were injured and 3 were killed in police firing on March 6 when the alliance of the Madhes-based parties attempted to disrupt the Mechi – Mahakali campaign of CPN (UML), at the Rajbiraj industrial zone.

Those killed in the incident are identified as Sajjan Meheta aka Ranjan, 25 of Maleth-2, Pitambar Mandal, 50 and Ananda Shah, 40 of Maleth-4, The dead bodies are kept at morgue house of BP Koirala  Institute of Health sciences.

Birendra Kumar Mahato, 38 of Malth VDC-2, Suredra Kumar Shah, 15 and Jitan Shah, 33 of Rajbiraj Municipality-7, Inar Yadav, 57 of Of madhepura VDC-2, Digambar Yadav, 43 of Rajbiraj Municipality-5 and Dilip Yadav, 23 of Birpur VDC-1 of Saptari were injured in the clash and have returned back on March 7 after receiving treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health sciences.

Similarly, Police Constable Ramesh Mangrati and Ranjeet Singh along with CPN-UML cadre Dhanapati Pathak, 51 of Itahari sub metropolitan city-4 are undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health sciences.
