A complaint was filed against Birendra Kumar Chaudhary, 23, of Barahathawa Municipality-3 at the Area Police Office, Barahathawa, on September 21, accusing him of raping a 16-year-old girl on August 20, 2025. According to DSP Niranjan Bhattarai of the Area Police Office, Barahathawa, the accused has absconded following the incident and a search is underway.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Sarlahi District Hospital on September 21.
