On September 21, 2025, INSEC monitored the Police Hospital in Maharajgunj regarding the condition of police personnel injured during the protest of September 8 and 9. During the monitoring, Police Constable Nabaraj Upadhyaya, 40, stated that he was injured on September 9 when the protesters pelted stones and bricks at him while he was controlling the protest around Kalimati area. Similarly, Police Constable Narindra Singh Dhami,27, said that he was injured on the same day when the protesters attacked the Thimi Police Post.
Likewise, Police Constable Chij Kumar Kumal, 42, stated that he was injured when protesters attacked while defending the Koteshwor Police Post. According to him, they not only pelted stones at the police post but also set it on fire, and then attacked the officers with stones, sticks, and iron rods.

Similarly, Police Constable Ram Bahadur Kami, 32, who was on duty at Maharajgunj Police Post, was injured in the chest, finger, and head on September 9. Police Constable Dil Bahadur Sinjali Magar,37, who was on duty at the Parliament Building, sustained serious head injuries when demonstrators entered the building and attacked him. That very day, Assistant Sub-Inspector Ram Kumar Tharu, 37, also fractured his leg after being attacked by the protesters. Police Chakra Bahadur Katuwal, 46, suffered spinal, head and multiple body injuries. He stated that despite his repeated pleas, demonstrators continued to beat him, forcing him and other officers to escape for their lives by crossing the Bagmati River from the Tinkune Police Post.

Inspector Roshan Kumar Shrestha, 49, posted at Badrakali Police Post, fractured his leg on September 9, after falling inside the post while fleeing when the crowd outside became uncontrollable. Police Office Assistant Ram Bahadur Yonjan, 33, sustained injuries to his head, eyes, back, and chest after being attacked by demonstrators with sticks and rods on the second day of the protest. In total, 219 police personnel injured in the protest were taken to the Police Hospital for treatment, of which 45 were admitted. Among those admitted, treatment for two is still ongoing, according to SP Rameshwar Adhikari.
The monitoring team included Information Officer Krishna Gautam from INSEC Central Office, Bagmati Province Coordinator Shiva Khakurel, and Assistant Officer Anmol Pant.
