Police arrested a 42-year-old man on September 22, 2025, for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl. According to a complaint filed by the girl’s elder sister at the District Police Office in Makwanpur, the accused allegedly raped the child on September 16 after she returned from school.
The girl underwent a medical examination on September 17 at the District Hospital. She has since been placed in a children’s home as per Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal of the District Police Office.
