Police have arrested Antare Thing,42, of Raksirang Rural Municipality-1 on September 14, 2025 for the charge of raping a 23-year-old postpartum woman. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on September 12 alleging that the accused, under the influence of alcohol, went to the victim’s house at night, tied up her husband, and raped the her.
Police spokesperson DSP Shyamu Aryal informed that an investigation into the incident is underway. The victim has been placed in a safe house in Hetauda.
