The Jhumka Jail Ramdhuni Municipality–5, reported the death of Jaleshwar Yadav, 46, from Rajbiraj Municipality–8, Saptari, on September 3. Yadav was admitted to the district hospital in Inaruwa on the evening of September 3 due to high fever. He experienced breathing difficulties and passed away during treatment, according to Ram Niroula, acting jailer of the Jhumka Jail.
Yadav had been serving his sentence for rape case. The Jail administration stated that the victim’s family is preparing to receive the body on September 4. The Jhumka Jail houses 1,798 inmates and detainees in Blocks ‘A’ and ‘B’.
