Police arrested Tulbahadur Jhedi, 62, of Chidipani, Mathagadhi Rural Municipality–1, from his home on 14 August for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Palpa, on 14 August, reporting that the accused raped the minor on 10 August, according to Inspector Kamal Pradhan of the District Police Office.
The health examination of the victim was done at the Palpa Hospital on 14 August.
