Police arrested Nek Mohammad, 40, operator of Nek Motorcycle Workshop located in Radhemai Birgunj Metropolitan City-13, and Aftab Ansari, 21,who works at the same workshop on August 5 for allegedly abducting and raping a 22-year-old woman.
The accused allegedly abducted the woman on May 3, held her captive at Ganesh Hotel and Lodge near Birgunj Bus Park, and raped her. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on May 6. The accused, who had been absconding since the incident, were arrested on August 5 from Pratima Chowk, Birgunj Metropolitan City-15, according to DSP Kishor Lamsal of the District Police Office.
The health examination of the victim was done on May 6 at Narayani Hospital, Birgunj.
