Police arrested Rajkumar Chaudhary,50, of Tikapur Municipality-4, Mauraniya, on July 21, 2025, for the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Tikapur stating that the accused lured the girl and raped her on July 13. According to DSP Nabin Budhathoki, the accused was arrested based on the complaint and further investigation is ongoing.
The victim underwent a health examination at Tikapur Hospital on 21 July.
