Police arrested a 17-year-old boy from Myanglung Municipality-9 on July 3 on charges of raping a 17-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on july 3 alleging that the accused raped the girl on the same day. Based on this complaint, the accused was arrested for investigation, said Inspector Roshan Kamati of the District Police Office.
The victim underwent a health examination at the District Hospital on July 3.
