Police arrested Ashok Mahato, 24, of Golbazar Municipality-13, on June 28 for the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on June 21, stating that Mahato raped the girl on June 19.
The health examination of the victim was done at the Provincial Hospital in Siraha on June 21.
