Police arrested Pranish Lama, 29, of Bhumu Rural Municipality-4, Urleni on June 16 for raping a 24-year-old girl. The aggrieved party had filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Dhulikhel on June 13 alleging that the accused had raped her on June 11 when she was asleep. The victim underwent a health check-up at Dhulikhel Hospital on June 13. DSP Min Bahadur Ghale stated that the accused is kept in custody for investigation.
