INSEC provided financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to Chandakala Rai, 53, a resident of Indrapur Tole in Birendranagar Municipality-13 on 12 June to help her initiate legal proceedings. Chandrakala Rai has been facing difficulties in pursuing legal procedures due to her poor financial condition. Chandakala Rai submitted an application to INSEC on May 23, 2025, stating that she has been facing difficulties in initiating legal procedures at the Surkhet District Court for the judicial declaration of her husband Bal Bahadur Rai death, who went missing after leaving for India to work in 2010. The Secretariat meeting held on June 12 decided to provide her with Rs 10,000. INSEC Karnali Province Coordinator Narayan Subedi stated that the amount was provided to help cover the expenses during her court visits.
