Three Juveniles Escaped from Child Reform Home in Biratnagar

The administration of the child reform home in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-3 has reported that three juvenile offenders escaped from the facility. According to Center Chief Milan Chauhan, the three youths, aged between 17 and 18, who are from Udayapur, Jhapa, and Taplejung, fled on May 13.

Among the escapees, the 18-year-old from Udayapur was sentenced to 16 years and eight months in prison and had been serving his sentence at the reform home for the past three years. The other two juveniles from Jhapa and Taplejung had been placed in there five months ago for trial, according to Chief Chauhan. DSP Ved Prakash Joshi of the District Police Office stated that they are searching for the juveniles.
