Area Police of Lahan arrersted 57-year-old man on May 2 for raping his 32-year-old daughter-in-law. The victim stated that the accused had been raping her for the past one year and also raped her on January 30, 2025. The victim filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Lahan on February 2, 2025. According to DSP Kailash Rai of the Area Police Office, Lahan, the accused, who had absconded after the incident, has been arrested and legal proceedings have been initiated against him.
The victim underwent a health check-up at Provincial Hospital, Lahan on February 1.
