Koshi Province Chief Parshuram Khapung has issued the Ordinance 2025 to amend certain provincial acts. According to the Office of the Province Chief, Khapung issued the ordinance on April 29, based on the recommendation of the Koshi Province Cabinet meeting held on the same day. The acts amended through the ordinance include the Public-Private Partnership and Investment Act 2019, Provincial Cooperative Act 2019, Provincial Vehicle and Transport Management Act 2019, and Provincial Building Act 2019.
According to Koshi Province Government Spokesperson and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Rewati Raman Bhandari, the amended acts also include the Provincial Industrial Enterprises Act 2019, Provincial Tourism Act 2019, Koshi Province Private and Partnership Firm Registration Act 2020, and Provincial Forest Act 2020.
