District Court sentenced 15-year-old boy to six year imprisonment for raping a 14-year-old girl. The bench of Tejnarayan Poudel on April 23 gave the following verdict along with a compensation of Rs 2,50,000, Rs 25,000 as fine, and Rs 1,300 to the victim’s relief fund.
The aggrieved party had filed a complaint at the District Police Office on June 27, 2024, stating that the boy raped the girl on June 26. Police arrested the juvenile on the same day, June 27.
The health examination of the girl was done on June 27 at the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences, Ghorahi.
