Police arrested Rakesh Kumar Shah,22, of Bideha Municipality-5 on April 17 for raping a 18-year-old girl. The aggrieved party had filed a complaint against the accused at the Itaharwa Police Office on April 16 alleging that he raped the victim on April 14. The health examination of the victim was done on April 16 at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpurdham.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Amit Tiwari of Itaharwa Police Post informed that the accused Shah has been arrested and sent to the District Police Office, Dhanusha for further investigation.
