Police arrested 53-year-old Kabirman Magar of Dhankuta Municipality-5, Karmitar for allegedly raping a 22-year-old woman.
The aggrieved party had filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on April 11 alleging that he raped the woman on April 6. DSP Om Prakash Khanal of the District Police Office reported that Magar was arrested for investigation. Magar who had been accused after the incident was arrested from Jorpati Rural Municipality-5, Parebadin.
The health examination of the victim was done on April 11 at the District Hospital.
