Police arrested Min Bahadur Bhandari, 35, of Simkot Rural Municipality-2 on April 9 for the charge of beating Uma Bhandari,38, of the same place. The victim’s husband Bal Bhandari filed a complaint at the District Police Office on April 8 alleging that the accused abused and injured the victim during a dispute over irrigating field on the same day.
The woman sustained a head injury and is being treated at the District Hospital.
