Police arrested Tej Bahadur Tamang, 71, of Bhumlu Rural Municipality-3, Hile on 4 April for raping a 28-year-old woman with intellectual disability. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on April 2 alleging that the victim was raped on 27 March. The police are investigating while holding the accused in custody, according to DSP Min Bahadur Ghale of the District Police Office.
The health examination of the victim took place on April 1 at Dhulikhel Hospital.
