The protesting party have agreed to discuss to resolve the dispute regarding the ongoing construction of the cable car in the Pathibhara Mukumlung area.
The issue of the cancellation of the cable car construction for the Mukkumlung conservation is not only a matter of concern for Taplejung district but also for all people worldwide who consider Mukkumlung as a cultural and spiritual site. The protesting parties have stated that a 10-member facilitation team, chaired by Saraswata Singhak has been formed for the discussions. The other members of the 10-member team are Kumar Limbu, Surya Bikram Chemjong, Dhanraj Hukpa Chongwang, Dipak Yakhkha, Lawan Neupane, Santosh Mehata, Padam Jewegu, Alok Mabohang, and Arjun Jumneli Rai.
The Ministry of Home Affairs had formed a discussion team on February 4 to peacefully resolve the issues and disputes arising during the construction of the cable car. On February 21, February 24, and March 14, the Ministry of Home Affairs invited the protesting parties to discuss the matter.
