Police arrested 46-year-old Teju Tharu of Bishambarpur, Raptisonari Rural Municipality-7, Kalpana Rayamajhi, 29, of Mohanpur, Raptisonari Rural Municipality-6, and Mohammad Ishararul Hak Khan,35 of Halbaldoli, Duduwa Rural Municipality-3 on March 8 for the charges of attempting to traffic a 17-year-old girl.
The accused lured the victim and called her to Teju Tharu’s house, attempting to take her to Uttar Pradesh, India. The police arrested the accused during the operation, according to Inspector Topendra Budha of the Area Police Office, Bhagwanpur. He mentioned that the aggrieved party side filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Bhagwanpur, on March 8.
The health examination of the victim was done on 9 March at the Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj.
