Police arrested 47-year-old Kamal Bahadur Darji of Salpasilicho Rural Municipality-6 on 2 January for the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused Alleging at the District Police Office Bhojpur on 1 January accused had raped the victim on 19 November.
DSP Yuvraj Timalsina of the District Police Office said that the absconded accused was arrested for further investigation. The health examination of the victim was done on 2 January, 2025.
