Police arrested 45-year-old Nima Norbu Tamang of Helambu Rural Municipality-1 on 21 November for the crime of raping a 15 year old girl. Inspector Bhagwati Timalsina of the Area Police Office Melamchi said that the accused was arrested for investigation after the aggrieved filed a complaint on 18 November, alleging that the accused had raped the victim on October 7, 2024.
The health examination of the victim was done on 18 November at the Primary Health Center , Melamchi.
