Police arrested 21-year-old Shyam Kumar Darji, of Sankhuwasabha, Khandbari Municipality-6 and is living in Sundararaincha Municipality-4, on the charge of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Belbari on November 15, 2024 for the charge of sexually abusing the girl on November 4, 2024.
Based on the same complaint, the accused was arrested on October 30 from Sundaharaicha Municipality-4 Bansbari Kutitol, according to the Area Police Office, Belbari.
The health examination of the victim was done on 16 November at the Koshi Hospital.
