The Election Officer’s office was established at two locations on November 15, 2024, to conduct the by-election for the Chairperson of Mahabu Rural Municipality and Ward Chairperson of Dullu Municipality-13, scheduled for December 1, 2024. The Chief Election Officer of Mahabu, District Court Judge Kul Prasad Pandey, and the Election Officer of Dullu Municipality-13, Sub-Secretary Birendra Bahadur Malla of the Dailekh District Court, have formally established the office and announced the election schedule.
He emphasized the importance of upholding the election code of conduct to ensure a clean, dignified, and peaceful by-election process. Additionally, he stressed the need for coordinated campaigning programs by political parties and candidates, as well as comprehensive cooperation in all aspects related to peace and security.
