Police arrested 27-year-old Sunil Pariyar of Gorkha Municipality-14 on October 28 on the charge of raping a 36-year-old woman with physical and mental disabilities.
DSP Indra Prasad Subedi of the District Police Office stated that the accused was arrested for investigation based on the complaint filed by the aggrieved party on 24 October 2024 which stated that the accused had raped the victim on 13 October 2024.
The health examination of the victim was done on October 24, 2024 at Gorkha Hospital.
