Police arrested 32-year-old Birsi BK of Madi Rural Municipality-2, Kholbang on October 3 for the charge of raping a 14-year-old minor.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint regarding the incident at the Area Police Office in Ghartigaon on 3 October, alleging that the accused had raped the girl on 2 October. Bijay Chapagai, Information Officer of the District Police Office, informed INSEC that the police have initiated a further investigation into the matter.
The health examination of the victim was done on 3 October at the District Hospital Reugha.
