Police arrested 22-year-old Dilip Rai of Likhu Rural Municipality–2 on September 13, 2024, on charges of raping a 30-year-old woman. The victim had filed a complaint with the District Police Office on September 11, 2024, alleging that the accused raped her on September 8, 2024. After the victim’s complaint, the accused Rai was arrested for investigation, according to DSP Tilak Bharati of the District Police Office. The victim underwent a medical examination at Trishuli Hospital on September 11, 2024.
