Police arrested 30-year-old Mukesh Mandal of Inaruwa Municipality-4 on 14 August for the crime of raping a 25-year-old woman.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on 13 August alleging that the accused had raped the victim on 10 August. DSP Nabinkrishna Bhandari of the District Police Office said that the accused was arrested for investigation based on the complaint of the victim.
The health examination of the victim woman was done at the District Hospital on August 13.
