A reconciliation agreement was reached between the accused and the Bishwakarma community of Salleri Barrack Tole in Solu Dudh Kunda Municipality-5 after the accused apologized for the caste discrimination incident. Dalit rights activists from across the district submitted a memorandum to the District Administration Office on August 13, protesting against caste discrimination. Following the submission, a discussion took place at the District Administration Office, where the accused, Nwang Sherpa and Jangmu Sherpa, issued an apology. Reconciliation was achieved after their apology. After a discussion on August 13 with Chief District Officer Devi Pandey Khatri, DSP Dwarika Prasad Ghimire of the District Police Office, Dalit leaders, and others, a reconciliation agreement was reached. DSP Ghimire stated that a settlement was achieved after the accused party admitted that the mistake was unintentional and not deliberate, and they promised not to repeat such mistakes in the future.
