Thirty-one students of Tulasadevi Primary School in Godawari Municipality-2 Bishankhu Narayan, Kotdanda received school uniforms and stationery materials on August 14. This initiative, led by INSEC’s District Representative, Lalitpur, was supported by the Nepal Textile and Stitching Association, which provided the items free of charge.
Savitri Nepali, the principal of the school, stated that the association collected clothing and stationery materials from its members and provided each student with one set of shirt and pants, as well as a notebook and pen for community school students.
Karna Tamang, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, stated that the students at Tulasadevi Primary School come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and are in need of basic support. Indra Maharjan, the treasurer of the association, informed that the Nepal Textile and Tailoring Business Association provided school uniforms and stationery materials upon learning that the students at Tulasadevi Primary School come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, including those of domestic workers, daily wage laborers, and farmers.
