Police arrested 19-year-old Rohit Giri of Panauti Municipality-8, Sunthan on 7 August for the charge of sexually abusing a 17-year-old girl. DSP Laldhwaj Subedi of Banepa reported that the aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Banepa Area Police Office on 4 August alleging that the accused had raped the victim on 2 August. DSP Subedi added that the investigation regarding the incident is going on.
The health examination of the victim girl was done on 3 August at Dhulikhel Hospital.
Similarly, Police arrested 20-year-old Tanka Ranamagar of Mahabharat Rural Municipality-1 currently residing near Banepa Municipality-8 Ittabhatta on 3 August for the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Banepa Area Police Office on 4 August alleging that the accused had raped the victim on on 2 August.
The health examination of the victim was done on August 2 at Dhulikhel Hospital.
