Police arrested 24-year-old Jiwan Shah of Bhadrapur Municipality-5 on 28 July for the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl.
Aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on 28 July alleging that the accused had raped the victim on 12 July. Police arrested the accused for further investigation based on the complaint.
The Health examination of the victim was done on 28 July at Mechi Provincial Hospital, Bhadrapur.
