Police arrested 21-year-old Om Prakash Chaudhary of Gaidahawa Municipality-7, Banagai on 24 July for the charge of raping a 14-year-old minor.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Lumbini on 24 July alleging that the accused had raped the girl on 21 July. Inspector Kanchan Tamang of the Area Police Office, Lumbini informed that they arrested the accused based on the same complaint and further investigation is underway.
The health examination of the victim was done on 24 July at Bhim Hospital, Bhairawa.
