Police arrested 68-year-old Raghujan BK of Narharinath Rural Municipality-8 on 23 July for the charge of raping an eight-year-old minor.
Inspector Poshan Thapa of the District Police Office informed that the aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused on 22 July alleging that he had raped the girl on 16 July when she was alone at home. He added that further investigation regarding the incident is going on.
The health examination of the victim was done on 22 July at the District Hospital.
