Police arrested 18-year-old Bikulal Romba of Indrawati Rural Municipality-3, Kunchowk on July 23 for the charge of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl.
DSP Niranjan Bhattarai of the District Police said that the aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the Nawalpur Area Police Office on July 14 alleging that he had sexually abused the victim on July 10. DSP Bhattarai added that a case has been registered against the accused under the charge of rape.
The health examination of the victim was done on 14 July at a Health Center in Nawalpur.
