Two members of the same family died on July 16 after being buried in a landslide in Sishuwakhola, Silichong Rural Municipality-1. Chairman of Silichong Rural Municipality Bhupalraj Mewahang informed that 55-year-old Motimaya Rai and 25-year-old Samsika Rai of Silichong Rural Municipality-1 died in the landslide on 16 July .
Chairman Mewahang stated that 55-year-old Motimaya and her daughter-in-law Sansika were crushed by rocks that fell during a landslide. Additionally, 29-year-old Rabina Rai was seriously injured after being hit by a stone.
As per District Officer Dhruv Bahadur Khadka the injured were taken to Kathmandu for treatment by helicopter of the Nepali Army .
