A complaint was filed at the District Police Office, Malangwa against 36-year-old Surendra Kumar Mahato of Godaita Municipality-1,on 30 June alleging that he attempted to traffic a 15-year-old boy.
DSP Dipak Shrestha of the District Police Office in Malangwa reported that the accused lured the victim under false offering of employment, gave him Rs 10,000, and attempted to traffic him to Mujafarpur, Bihar, India. Additionally, when questioned by the police team of Area Police, Simra, the accused absconded leaving the victim on June 23.
DSP Shrestha added that the victim has been rescued and reunited with their family. Furthermore, the search for the accused is underway.
