Police arrested 20-year-old Panjit Loniya of Siddharthnagar Municipality-5, on June 30 for the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl.
The Aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on June 30 alleging that the accused had raped the victim on June 13. DSP Manohar Prasad Bhatta of District Police Office informed INSEC that the accused have been arrested and further investigation is going on.
The health examination of the victim was done on 30 June at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa.
