A complaint was filed against 18-year-old Prince Gurung, 21-year-old Rohit Gupta of Siddharthnagar Municipality-6 and 26-year-old Abdul Sabut Khan of Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality-3, Paderiya under the charge of raping an 18-year-old girl.
The aggrieved had filed the complaint at the Area Police Office, Lumbini on July 1 alleging that the accused had raped the victim on June 18.
DSP Manohar Prasad Bhatta of the District Police Office informed INSEC that the accused are currently absconding and further investigation is being carried out.
The health examination of the victim was done on 30 June at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa.
