Police arrested 27-year-old Sujan Sigdel and 18-year-old Sunil Radha Patel of Gulariya Municipality-5 on 30 June for the charge of raping a 18-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Baniyanbhar, on June 30 allegeing that the accused had raped the victim on June 29. DSP Tulsiram Aryal of the District Police Office informed INSEC that the accused have been arrested and further investigation is going on.
The health examination of the victim was done on June 30 at Bardiya Hospital, Gulariya.
