INSEC provided financial assistance to a 11-year-old rape victim to go through the legal process on June 25. The aggrieved party submitted an application to the INSEC District Representative on June 13, asking for financial assistance. They stated that the financial situation of the victim is very poor, making it difficult for them to go through the legal process.
INSEC, on the basis of the victim’s application, the recommendation of the concerned ward office, and INSEC district representative, provided the victim a financial support of Rs 10,000 to assist the victim in the judicial process.
A complaint regarding the case was filed at the District Police Office on 11 June alleging that the accused had raped the victim on 10 June. The health examination of the victim was done on 11 June at Arghakhanchi Hospital, Sindhikharka.
