A complaint was filed against 37-year-old Dipendra Kumar Yadav of Balara Municipality-4 at the Area Police Office, Gadahiya, on June 14 charging him of attempting to rape a 38-year-old woman.
The victim alleged that the accused threatened and attempted to rape her on June 4. Inspector Subash Yadav of the Area Police Office Gadahiya said they are searching for the absconding accused.
The health examination of the victim was done on June 19 at Sarlahi District Hospital Malangwa.
