High Court Tulsipur, Nepalgunj has issued a mandamus to prepare a study report on Nepalgunj Civil Aviation office, Ranjha.
The joint bench of the Tulsipur High Court, Nepalgunj issued a mandamus on 15 May on the basis of the writ submitted by INSEC, Public Interest Litigation and Senior Advocates Sushil Shrestha, Advocate Lok Bahadur Shah, Basanta Gautam, Bal Bahadur Chanda, and Biswajit Tiwari on 25 February.
Tulsipur High Court Judges Chandra Bahadur Sharu and Basantaraj Paudel have ordered a report to be submitted by the committee formed. This report will assess the services provided to passengers at Nepalgunj Civil Aviation Office Airport Rajha Air Service, including the canteen, motor vehicle, and rickshaw parking. Additionally, the court has requested information on any problems with these services and suggestions for immediate, short-term, and long-term solutions. The report is also asked to specify which agency can implement the solutions and within what time frame.
The High Court in Tulsipur, Nepalgunj, has issued the six-point mandamus and instructed to submit the study report within one month from the start of the assessment. The report is to be prepared by the committee including representatives from the Civil Aviation Authority Office, Tourism Office, Public Interest Litigation Group, Nepalgunj, Consumer Forum Nepal, and one representative designated by private airlines under the leadership of the Assistant Chief District Officer of the District Administration Office.
Human Rights Activist Senior Advocate Sunil Shrestha stated that they are working towards making all air service-related services effective and sustainable in the long term. The INSEC Lumbini Provincial Office has been coordinating with legal practitioners on public concern issues for a long time.
